The UGA Mycology Graduate Student Organization is proud to host the 2023 Gene E. Michaels Medical Mycology Symposium. This exciting one-day event will take place on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 in the 1st floor Tate Center Reception Hall at the University of Georgia.

The theme of GEMMMS2023 is fungi in health and disease. The scientific program features renowned speakers from across the country that will highlight diverse areas of fungal biology. Attendees, especially graduate students, undergraduate students, and post-doctoral associates, are invited to present posters or give a talk. Note that there are limited slots for talks and posters and there is a required 250 word abstract submission.
